Cuphead

The main characters in the game are two children who one day decide to try their luck and head to a casino. They choose a game of dice and start playing, completely unaware that the casino owner is a real devil – literally. At first the children were really lucky, when suddenly the casino owner came to them and offered them a deal – if they won this time, he would give them the whole casino, but if they lost, he would take their immortal souls. The children agree and lose. To avoid losing their souls, they ask the devil for mercy and he offers them an entirely different deal – they must take the contracts of souls from all his previous debtors.

Gameplay

You need to help the children with this task. The island elder, your guardian, gives you a potion that empowers you to shoot lasers out of your hands and warns you that this mission can be very difficult and not all the debtors will want to give up their contracts willingly. After that, you set off in search of the debtors. They don’t want to give up their contracts voluntarily, so you have to fight them and take their contracts away. Overall, the whole game is based on a variety of battles with enemies. There is also an achievement system in the game. You get them for completing various obvious and not-so-obvious missions. For example defeating a boss, solving a puzzle in an unusual way and so on. When you collect all the achievements, you get a platinum medal. Also, when you collect the contracts, a battle with a final boss awaits you at the end, on whose battle your freedom and your souls depend.
